French Bulldogs do not tend to be excessive barkers, they make exceptional apartment /condominium dogs. Frenchies do very well with children, although it is still especially important to supervise them together. Overall, The French Bulldog is a cute, affectionate dog that makes a wonderful pet for all kinds of families. They are sturdier than the average small dog. Frenchies are primarily companion dogs. It is because they are sociable, loving, funny and not only love their owners, but they also get along well with other animals in household as well. The French Bulldog is a very smart breed. They display their smartness at home and in other activities. Frenchie's are sweet and love to cuddle, they also tend to appreciate their beauty sleep more than other dogs. While some dogs can be left alone for as long as 8-9 hours, these hours do not work for the Frenchie at all. The ideal hour for this breed alone is 4-5 hours, and the ideal bulldog owner is someone who works from home or has time to come home intermittently to check on the dog.
